Wine cellar visit and wine tasting packages:
Enjoy a journey through time and immerse yourself in three centuries of intertwined history at BONONIA ESTATE! You will have the opportunity to touch and examine the carefully restored underground rooms of the building, dating back to 1895. You will learn about the history of the building, the traditions and specifics of wine production, about the local grape varieties and their characteristics. You will also get to know our different vintages and brands of wines.
The tour begins with a visit of our experimental winemaking room, where our unique design vessels for fermentation and wine storage, made by a famous Italian manufacturer, especially for BONONIA ESTATE, are positioned. This is followed by an introduction to 4 beautiful 3-ton barrels, bottled wine aging cells and the impressive barrel rooms with fully preserved Prussian vaults and stone walls.
The walk ends with a lecture and wine tasting in our beautiful and renovated enoteca, where guests will see a 2-meter sample of the unique soil composition under Bononia’s vineyards and a preserved bottle of “Koshava beer” from years ago, when Bononia was one of the first breweries in the country.

2019 Vintage is the first vintage made “at home” in the village of Koshava. This is our collector’s series, created out of a desire to make a significant and valuable product to evolve and build over time. A series with no follow-up production, each bottle has a long development potential and is numbered from a limited batch. Wine for connoisseurs, for people with an attitude towards its realization and connected to its origin.
